We are inviting applications from aspiring singers with artistry and talent,
who wish to improve their vocal technique and study oratorio, opera and
German romantic Lied repertoire.
The master classes will address singers individual requirements i.e.,
stage poise, audition preparations, vocal and breathing techniques and
professional contacts.
A concluding concert will be presented to the Berlin public during the
XX. Black International Cinema Berlin 2005, May 5 - 8. The master classes
and concert will be conducted by Prof.
Norma Sharp and Ms. Nena Brzakovic.
MAY
VOICES IN BERLIN 2005 participants, ages 16 - 35, will be selected on
a basis of submitted tapes or CD's. Please mail the audition materials to
Prof. Norma Sharp, Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler", Charlottenstr. 55,
10117 Berlin/Germany, by April 24, 2005.
Please include name, address and age information.
Those invited artists will engage in 5 hour daily classes with Prof. Norma
Sharp and Ms. Nena Brzakovic.
Participating artists will be required to pay a fee of 250,00 Euros for master
classes and concert.
For those wishing to monitor/observe classes, the fee is 125,00 Euros.
The daily class observation fee is 30,00 Euros.
