I yearn to turn back 
See my past and correct the problems 
But time won't wait for me 
Time won't wait for anyone or anything 
No matter how important the issue might be 
Time still takes steady and even steps forward, never back 

Only time can tell 

So calm yourself my love 
Time may hurt, but shall heal you 
Keep your head high, your back straight, and your chest out
But…if you need to curl up and cry
