EL NOVENO DÍA DE LA CREACIÓN /
THE NINTH DAY OF CREATION

Director: César Urbina
Documentary, Color, 43 min.
Spain 2011
Spanish with English subtitles

For seven long years, a young artist named Jesús Mateo took on a titanic task – breathing life back into the walls of an ancient deconsecrated church. Supported by UNESCO and recognized by intellectuals for his project, which is an example of that which should be considered culture: free of speculation, far from the art market and with a decidedly participatory social support network.
